Awarded a Gold medal in the 2020 New World Wine Awards, produced predominantly from Glera grapes in north eastern Italy, Prosecco is Italy’s most popular sparkling wine. Light and fruity, it’s great at a picnic, served with fresh sliced melon. This is a terrific example with ripe creamy fruit sweetness balanced by delightful acidity. In your mouth it’s textural with grapefruit and honeydew melon flavours, the touch of sweetness ending in a long dry finish.
