The announcement came before the launch

Foodstuffs announced Club+ on 18 May 2026, with customers able to use the programme from 15 June at New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square. The May release described a shared customer platform across the co-operatives’ brands.

This look-back records the launch announcement rather than promising that its conditions remain unchanged.[1]

Earning and spending were different

Under the announced terms, customers could earn Club+ Dollars on qualifying purchases at New World and Four Square. PAK’nSAVE shoppers could spend Club+ Dollars earned at those other brands, but would not earn them at PAK’nSAVE.

One Club+ Dollar was described as worth one dollar when spent. A shared card therefore did not mean identical benefits or earning rules at every supermarket.[1]

A replacement for New World Clubcard

The release said Club+ would replace New World Clubcard. It described digital cards in the relevant apps and an option for a plastic card.

Foodstuffs said existing members’ balances, shopping history and preferences could carry across when they joined.[1]

Compare the full shop before chasing rewards

For a buying decision, separate the price you pay now from a reward you might use later. Compare the same products and quantities, then check qualifying purchases, exclusions and the current programme terms.

A reward balance alone cannot tell you which store makes your whole list cheaper. Keep transport costs and any extra spending needed to qualify in the comparison.[1]
