Deceptive in its simplicity, Local Lager is a beer that quenches, refreshes & humbly stands guard while the moment shines. It doesn't thumb its nose at anything on the table or off the grill. Easy-going yet engaging, it's an egalitarian brew that's sure-to-please. Cold fermented & lagered - like a good lager should be - NZ Pilsner malt stands up to a light hopping with local Wai-iti & Motueka for a hint of peach up front, light cracker maltiness in the body to balanced bitterness & a thread of stone fruit on the finish.
