About this product
Guanciale is a form of bacon made from pork jowls (cheek) and cured with salt, sugar, and spices. This is the traditional ingredient for Spaghetti Carbonara as it has much more flavour than bacon alone. Guanciale can be sliced thinly and eaten raw. It can also be cooked like bacon or chopped as an ingredient, giving great depth of flavour to the dishes and sauces it is used in.
